1. Christmas Projection Lights Hit $500K on TikTok in 7 Days

As the holiday season kicks in, Chinese brand JOYTUTUS is gaining massive traction on TikTok US with its LED Christmas projection light.
In just seven days, the product sold 35,700 units, reaching $500,000 in revenue.
Within 60 days of going live, its GMV reached $658,000, making it the top seller in the automotive accessories category.

Surprisingly, the breakout came from a 14-second video posted by AI creator Meyaa, who has fewer than 4,000 followers.
The clip generated 12.9 million views, driving 13,600 orders and nearly $200,000 in sales.

2. Shenzhen Founder Builds a $100M Projection Brand on TikTok

Shenzhen projector brand Magcubic joined TikTok Shop in 2024 with a fully managed launch strategy.
In the first six months, the brand generated $9.36M GMV.
After opening a local-operated store, its combined GMV reached $18.09M (about RMB 128M).

Its bestseller, the HY300 Pro, sold 25,000 units in 28 days, leveraging LCD short-throw technology to deliver strong price-performance value.

The brand has now expanded to Europe and Japan.
On the France site, it sold 1,800+ units in seven days, and 1,000+ units in Germany.
During Black Friday, platform-driven content traffic continued to push strong growth.

3. JD Showcases 30+ Robotics Brands at the World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference

On November 27, the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference opened at the Nanjing International Expo Center.

JD partnered with over 30 global robotics brands, including Unitree and Zooxen, to showcase breakthroughs across four areas:

  • retail supply chain

  • AI productivity

  • smart logistics

  • industrial intelligent equipment

The exhibits cover use cases such as assisted living, home education, and entertainment robotics.
JD also introduced its robotics rental service, allowing users to rent humanoid robots and quadruped robot dogs directly through its platform.

4. Walmart Tests AI-Powered Sponsored Prompts in Shopping Assistant Sparky

Walmart is strengthening its retail AI stack by upgrading its GenAI shopping assistant, Sparky.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Sparky is testing a new ad format called “sponsored prompts.”
Sparky can summarize customer reviews, compare products, and suggest items based on user needs.
Now, these queries may be monetized.
When shoppers click related prompts, Sparky generates an AI response along with a shoppable ad.

Currently, 26 analysts rate Walmart as a “Strong Buy.”
The highest price target is $130, while the average estimate of $121.92 implies 11.67% upside.

5. The UK Plans to Remove Tariff Exemptions for Low-Value Goods

The UK Treasury plans to eliminate import tariff exemptions for items priced below £135 as part of its annual budget.
The proposal will enter a public consultation phase.

The policy may bring £500 million in additional annual revenue and aims to improve market fairness and product safety.
Its consumer impact is expected to be moderate.

This move follows similar global actions:

  • The US ended duty-free status for goods under $800 in August.

  • The EU is moving to remove exemptions for items under €150.

Major economies are tightening tax oversight on cross-border e-commerce.
