Global media advertising expenditure is projected to reach USD 664.2 billion in 2026, as the market continues shifting from offline channels toward digital and data-driven advertising.
Actual ad spend in 2025 reached USD 607.4 billion, exceeding expectations. Growth was supported by AI-driven marketing applications and a more stable macroeconomic environment, delivering net post-inflation gains.

Video formats, including Connected TV (CTV), are becoming the primary driver of user engagement. Investment in data infrastructure is increasingly focused on building proprietary AI capabilities.
In 2025, digital marketing accounted for 65.1% of total advertising spend. Digital channels such as search, social media, and digital out-of-home grew by more than 5%, while traditional channels including direct mail and linear TV declined by approximately 3%.
Digital marketing is expected to maintain 12% growth in 2026, with investment in marketing-related data services projected to reach USD 33 billion.
