Amazon continues to expand its profitability by combining marketplace scale with cloud dominance. Its global logistics network and Prime ecosystem strengthen customer loyalty through faster delivery and bundled services. AWS remains Amazon’s strongest profit engine. It contributes 65% of the company’s operating profit and generates an annualized revenue of $132 billion.

The rise of AI is expected to unlock even more cloud demand, reinforcing Amazon’s leadership in AI infrastructure. 2. Labubu Finally Meets a Competitor: The “Ugly-Cute” Fuggler Trend Explodes Online

The UK collectible toy Fuggler is gaining traction across TikTok, Xiaohongshu, and Western markets. It now ranks among the most searched collectible toys on Taobao. The brand began in 2018 when a college student inserted fake teeth into a teddy bear as a joke. The concept later evolved into a global line under Spin Master, with IP collaborations such as SpongeBob and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Each character has a unique ID and personality. Its raw, “anti-perfect” design resonates with Gen Z aesthetics. Tools like Echotik and GoodsFox help cross-border sellers track rising search volume, spot breakout products early, and validate market demand.


3. Ozon Launches “Ozon Select” for Curated Fashion Brands

Ozon has introduced “Ozon Select,” a curated service featuring mid- to high-end fashion items. The platform hand-selects 130,000 products across apparel, footwear, and accessories from leading Russian brands such as Ekonika and Yulia Wave. It also includes beauty devices and home essentials.

Key customer experiences include branded packaging, product sealing, and try-before-buy options across 78,000 pickup points. According to product head Ilona Yershova, the service blends boutique-level curation with Ozon’s fast, reliable logistics.


4. TikTok Shop UK Records All-Time High During Black Friday, Up 50% YoY

TikTok Shop UK achieved record-breaking sales this Black Friday, with total GMV surging 50% year-over-year. Peak activity occurred on the day of Black Friday, when shoppers purchased 27 items per second. The “Fake Friday” week, one week before Black Friday, also reached last year’s Black Friday sales level.

Search volume for “TikTok Shop Black Friday” jumped 404%, making it the top Black Friday-related term of 2025. Active shoppers increased 28% year-over-year, marking the platform's strongest holiday season performance.


5. Xiaomi EV Targets Europe as Its First Global Market

On December 3, Xiaomi President Lu Weibing announced that Europe will be the first international market for Xiaomi’s EV business. He described Europe as the most competitive automotive market in the world. Xiaomi aims to establish its position in Europe before expanding elsewhere.

Lu recently visited Germany and emphasized the maturity of the local automotive industry. Xiaomi plans to officially enter Europe in 2027, with preparations currently underway.
